As America celebrates her 250th birthday, we celebrate God’s faithfulness and remember that the hand of God has been upon our nation since July 4, 1776 and even before.
Even though it a tremendous blessing and privilege to be an American citizen, some have misunderstood that privilege to include salvation and automatic entrance into heaven when life on earth is over. While the majority of our founding fathers were devout Christians and consequently influenced by the Bible and Christianity. A few were Unitarians, who believed among other things that all people will eventually go to heaven.
No doubt we all wish that were the case. Even God himself wants all people to go to heaven based on what we read in II Timothy 2:3-4. Even though God wants all people to be saved and go to heaven, do all people go to heaven? We must turn to our only source of authority for the answer-the Bible.
The remainder of the tract provides numerous verses from the Bible to explain the gospel message and invites the readers to receive Jesus into their life.
